I have been working with the paranormal now since 1994 and I have worked with some of the best researchers & investigations teams across UK & Europe and also some of the worst teams known to this business. I have worked and researched some of the UK's most haunted locations etc: Castles, Manor Houses, stately homes, War and battle sites.
You name it, I have investigated it. I have come across many types of paranormal activity in my time. Some times I fear it and sometimes i love it but NEVER once have i run from it. I have worked and swapped research notes with my dear friend Mark Turner, Founder and lead Investigator for Ghost Finders, Scotland.

My greatest inspirations throughout the past 20 years have been Peter Underwood (Ghost Hunter and Author), Dr. Ciaran O'Keeffe (Psychologist), Harry Price (Psychic Investigator), but most of all my parents for helping me to make the dream of doing what I love real. They have been the biggest support anyone could ask for throughout my professional career. They are the reason I continue with my research with the passion and determination I carry with me today.
I started researching the paranormal as a hobbies way back in 1994 and after three years I became so hooked on this that I started my own team up. After three years of working and working hard I started to learn much more by reading books and watching others that had done this line of work for many years. Peter Underwood has been a paranormal book writer and Ghost Hunter since the early 30s in the Harry Price years. In 2000 I started to follow closely Dr. Ciarán O'Keeffe (Most Haunted Fame). I watched him very closely and studied him and Peter Underwood very closely and their methods of how to investigate. Many years had passed now and I was running my second team TR.I.P.A UK with my dear friends Tim Iddin & Helen Sanderson. Also I had now started working full time teaching across the United Kingdom & Europe in Haunted Locations as a paranormal Researcher and under taking paranormal tours and events for the public of a way to fund the scientific Investigations run by Team T.R.I.P.A UK. I started many part time college courses in the hope I could learn as much information as I could about this line of work but in fact there really nothing that can help you apart from you spending as much time as you can out there researching & Investigating. I started working with some of the best Paranormal Investigators and researcher across the UK such as Mark Turner (Ghost Finders of Scotland) who has shown me many things that I never found from reading book on E.V.P,. Thanks to him and other that in time I will thank on this website in due course. In 2009 I took some time out from my work as I found myself becoming sick due to the fact I was working seven days and nights per week on very little sleep.
Now I ‘am back working fulltime again but this time I ‘am only working five days a week rather than the full seven days lol. I ‘am undertaking a paranormal Radio show right looking at the paranormal world from a scientific angle such as ghost, Emf field, Evp and ultrasound etc: Its not a easy field to get into, although it’s easy to start up being a ghost hunter or a paranormal investigator buts to be good at it you must read, watch and learn as I find there is so many team now working around the world that base their teams on how the they see it done on the TV. Just take note people when I see that ghost hunting / paranormal researching is not how you see it done on the TV. It’s not all bangs and doors slamming. My dear readers in truth its long cold dark nights in some cold dark damp castle room for at times up to 12 hours with nothing going on.
Iam not one for writing about myself, Yeah that's why I rather pay someone to write for me. So here I sit at my desk thinking of what would be best to write about ones self. Well here goes everything' I have always been into the paranormal right from the word go since being a small boy and in 1990 I started reading more books on the subject of ghosts and haunting'a from Peter Underwood and Harry Price. Then in 1994 I started going out to a few small castles around my area with a flash light and notes book and pen with very old 35mm camera(lol). Now when I think about this and the things I used in the very beginning its a wonder Ive got as far as I have today. Twenty years on and Ive worked with some of the UKs leading paranormal research/investigations teams ,Radio Media and a few Magazines Yes also some of the UKs worst teams that seem to think that TV ghost hunting show were sent from God and that's how they should base there investigations on. OK lets not get me started on what I think about TV shows (lol). So I started Teesside Research Into Paranormal Activity UK I think around 1999 and back then things were somewhat better because of (again) TV has killed of any FREE locations.
In 2007 I started an open Uni course on parapsychology and after allot of hard work and many a late nights reading,studying I got my degree. Great I get to have letters after my name now. I feel so cool! (NOT).Trust me when I say its been a long fours years getting to where i am now. Ive worked from the top of Scotland to the bottom on England and these past four years working in Europe alone at times with out my team has been hard in countries like Ukraine,Norway,Germany,France,Holland,Poland etc: and Ive loved every moment of it. Investigating Ghosts takes it out of you when your doing this work seven days a week and up to 16 hours daily and two years ago I hit a place in mylife where I never want to end up again. One Sunday Morning I just got up out of bed after a nights work and went to walk to the bathroom when I had a mass pain in my chest,Well yes I had to have a operation due to poison that had got to my heart valve and made me very sick. Well everything is OK now and iam back working fulltime' Well six days a week and not the full seven (lol).
When you live and breathe the paranormal like I did it takes over your life in ways you would never even notice. As much as I love my work and my research I have to stop from time to time and just stop myself from been taken over that line. Many peopl
Shaun you have NO LIFE they tell me and when I think about what point there trying to make me see then I see that they are right but my work is my life,Yeah it would be great to find a women that holds ghost research close to heart like myself then maybe I could have the best of both worlds(lol) or maybe not!!Many people ask me for help on were to start when doing any investigating or just the research, I just say listen, watch and read but no matter what others teach you about ghosts that fact is you'll learn your own way. Just stick in and you'll know soon enough weather this line of work is really for you or not. Watching TV ghost hunters and Most Haunted shows will not teach you anything but to be A GOOD FAKE.

The paranormal is always changing and the investigators must change and learn with it. There is not one man or women that knows everything about the paranormal (ghosts) as there is always something new with each passing day to learn.
I just want to prove to myself that I can for fill a life long dream.I am willing to train or help and advise any upcoming new team or person to understand everything that you'll need to undertake a role in the paranormal investigations world. There are today so many people and teams watching far to much TV and just heading out to there local church yards or grave yards to hunt ghosts. They have NO PLANS, NO IDEAS and no damn clue to what they are dealing with. Come on people do your research, learn, and then investigate. TV is killing everything with regards to ghosts and the paranormal. I should not really call myself a paranormal investigator as I DONT do anything else other than GHOSTS and the field of research that runs alongside. TV shows such as MOST HAUNTED, GHOST HUNTERS etc: have just made my research so much harder, evenone now is a GH (ghosthunter0 P.I (paranormal Investigator. They just pick up a video camcorder and away they go rushing of into the dark looking for ghost and all things bump in the dark. Get a bloody grip!!!I know not everyone is like me and using my methods but my methods are tried and tested and 20 years in the making. Just seems that now everyone can see and feel ghosts. Everyones making money doing events, OK!! lets just get one thing clear, I also do events but my events are to teach the public the right way' yes my way but they use myway to suit there way.Can me mad but it really does make me very angry to see these so called team in the UK & US giving the dedicated people and team a REAL BAD NAME.
Well if you are a time served person such as myself then you know what iam talking about. I am here to learn other and try to teach them basics about ghost in the hope that this will set there path in the study of everything haunted and ghostly.
All my research and work is now dedicated to two three women that made a big difference in my life. My Mum, My Nanna Alcie Mulcaster and last but fair one of the greatest. My Angel Mary. Angel made me understand that things dont come knocking on your door, That life is a gift and somehting that we all should love no matter what. I will miss you deeply. Your always in my heart and you are the keeper of my soul.

I decided today that I would make my very own page on blog that I can just get somethings of my chest and out in the open. Iam just laughing at myself because I should be posting my views and thoughts and is that what a blog is for and not an excuse to make a free website like Ive done in this case (lol). Well hey our line of work pays very poorly if at all,Never mind!.
So yeah I just wanted to write down some thoughts that I always think about when Iam not at my desk. Today I was thinking of how far we have come since the start of the paranormal outbreak when the paranormal TV shows hit everyone TV screens way back in 2000. So on UK TV programs were Most Haunted, Ghost hunters, Dead famous etc; and now in 2011 where are they? I will tell you where there at and that run out of fake bullshit and they know now that the good people of the world can see right past all of there cheating lies of how the paranormal works. Today I was sitting at ones desk just surfing the Internet typing in to google many names that I once used to know with regards to ghost hunting teams and so on. Truth is I was shocked to see that out of 100 percent of world wide investigation team there is now seems only to be at the very least 38percent left still investigating" hows do I know this". Its because there websites are no longer LIVE and running. One big things I did find today from the states is it seems you need to have Internet radio now to be a ghost hunter or paranormal investigator. God seems many folks at so slow (lol). Way way back in 2003 I was running my very first Internet radio show my then my bed room office under the nme of Angel Radio Network. It was that three hour show three times a week that got me my real radio work for Teessdale FM . Six years i worked in radio media and I so happy that Iam only now part time as in my mind its the worse move I ever made as you open yourself up to many dickheads and stupid crazy hoax's. I don't know how many days and nights I sat talking crap with some women or guy about there haunted home or the old lady that haunts them and there kids. Yeah folks there was few and I mean a little few that were VERY TRUTH FULL but still a good 98percent just called the show just to hear the sound of there dull voices.TV shows like the UKs Most "Faked" Haunted killed so much of what was real many research teams around 2001/02 because locations saw that they could make BIG bucks by getting there investigations team there to make a show and after the show had gone out on air the prices had shot up two fold eg price before was around £100 and that ws maybe to pay for staff the remain behind to let the teams in and after the show had been there price would then be around £500 to even at times £1000. As yet Ive never paid to research any location, castle, abbey for myself or Team TR.I.P.A UK but I have paid when doing public events to raise founds to my charity. I always hated the fact people make money from the dead, crazy world we live in now because of Reality Ghost Hunting shows. They have so much to answer for now. So many doors closed also for the big amount of wanna be ghost Hunters or arm chair investigators as I call them getting a great location and then wrecking the place because of not knowing what to do when and if paranormal activity happened. They seemed to think that all you needed was a digital video recorder and head of into the night looking for ghosts. "YOU" the arm chair ghost hunter, YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!I don't have a problem with those teams and investigators that learn about all forms of paranormal (Ghosts) before heading of to a 700 year old castle as we all had to start some place. Iam so happy to see that those type of teams and people have all but gone now. I hope they stay hidden in the shadows of which where they come from,Just like the TV shows or years gone by.You might thinking iam being a little tad to hard on them but if you like me have seen what these teams have done to this field of work then you'll understand me when I say that this line of work is best off with out them now. Sadly though many teams are still paying over the top price to get a few hours investigating done. There are so many open and free location that you don't need to pay for if you just research and plan way ahead.Not so long ago I move to Europe because of what ws going on here in the UK. Now something good came from something bad as now ive worked in 11 countries such as Ukraine,Norway, France, Germany,Holland,Poland,Finland Denmark etc:I think your get my point.
